The Note propertires dialog consists of three pages: Common, Visual and Format. All these pages allows to view and change current note properties.

The Common page shows the following information:

Note name - the name of current note as it appears in tree.
Size - note size, in bytes.
Compressed - compressed note size. This value is shown only if current notebook is compressed.
Ratio - the compression ratio. Show how much percents of original note size is the compressed size.
Reserved - how much reserved space is left for saving the note content to its current place in notebook file.
Created - the date and time when the note was created.
Last saved - the date and time when the note was saved last time after it was changed.

Words - how much words are in current note.
Lines - actually, how much paragraphs are in current note.
Characters - how much characters are in current note including spaces and punctuation marks.

The Visual page is mostly the same as in notebook Visual properties plus it allows to choose background color for current note.

The Format page allows to set the following:

Note format:
Rich text - with this format you can perform all available text and paragraph formatting options.
Plain text - with this format the note will be a simple text, wrapped by window edge. This format is useful to store large amounts of texts without formatting.

Also you can make current note Read only by checking the corresponding box. It will be impossible to make changes in note if this options is set.

The checkbox Appears on QuickAccess toolbar controls the presence of the note button on the special toolbar for quick accessing the most common used notes.
