The Saving options dialog is designed to change notebook saving options.
You can compress or decompress your notebook here. Compression usually greatly decreases notebook size but slows its opening and saving. Actually, you won't see the speed reducing while working with notebook if you have a modern PC (at least 500 MHz).
To compress your notebook press Compress current notebook button.
Note: there is a difference between notebook compressing and packing. Compressing is a process of reducing size of each note by using special math algorithms. Packing is a process of reordering notes in notebook file and removing 'holes' and obsolete fragments. You can pack the notebook by choosing File|Pack notebook in main menu.
Note, after changing the compression status of the notebook will be impossible to recover deleted notes by Recover notes dialog.
The Reserved size feature increases the performance of saving separate notes. It denies to leave a hole in notebook file when adding text to note because of reserving mentioned additional space after note in file. So the grow of the note will 'eat' the reserved space and won't require moving to new place (leaving a big 'hole' in the old one).
The autosave feature works as usual. Specify autosave interval and My Notes Center will save the notebook every time the interval passes.
